The product I am looking at isn’t quite the right size, height or width. Can it be modified?

If for any reason our extensive range of products do not meet your specific requirements Tubular Equipment will manufacture equipment to suit any special requirements.

How do I hire equipment?

Tubular Equipment has a range of equipment available for HIRE within the Tauranga/Bay of Plenty region.

Do I need to reserve hire equipment?

To guarentee availability, we recommend you do especially for some of our more popular products.

Is there a holding fee for any equipment?

Yes, for all our equipment, including our very popular Tubular Knee Scooter, a deposit of $20 is required. This amount will be deducted from the total hire cost.

Where do I pick up hire equipment?

Pick up is from our factory in 18 Macdonald St, Mount Maunganui. Delivery can be arranged at your expense.

Will I get a refund if my hire is returned early?

Yes you will – depending on how close to the end of the hire period you return the equipment.

Do you allow equipment trials?

Yes, but we only let out trial equipment to hospitals, therapists, and rest homes for a period of 10 days.

Do you have a showroom where I can see your products?

What are the warranty terms on equipment?

All products manufactured by Tubular Equipment Ltd carry a 12-month warranty on material and workmanship; Given they are used within their prescribed limitations.

What if something is broken can you repair it?

We can repair any of the products manufactured in our workshop or replace any components that have become tired or show signs of wear and tear. We can in most cases also repair other products similar to ours.

How do I pay for my order/hire?

For New Zealand customers, payment can be made via Cash, Cheque, or Internet Banking. Eftpos facilities are available at our factory.

Overseas Customers: Telegraphic Transfer between your bank and ours, details given on ordering.

Credit Card: We currently do not accept credit cards but are aiming to provide support for this method of payment in the future.

What is the cost for delivery?

This depends on where the product is being sent, how large it is, the weight and the courier service used.

We will advise you of the freight cost once a quote has been issued from the courier service.

NB: Some products are not available on the NZ Post Service due to size restrictions. Please contact us for further pricing.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery is normally by courier or NZ Post. Depending on stock levels, delivery is usually 3–7 days from the date of order received, direct to your door.
